MOBILE PAY LTD was incorporated on 4 October 2024, and MobilePayments grew from the idea that there had to be a better, fairer way to accept payments.
Our story
MobilePayments began with the incorporation of MOBILE PAY LTD on 4 October 2024, when our founder, Henry Peckett, set out to find a fairer way to accept card payments. At the time, most providers forced merchants into long-term contracts, with account setup taking days and mountains of cumbersome paperwork. After being stuck in this frustrating system himself, Henry decided there had to be a better way — one with no contracts, no monthly fees, simple online sign-up, and published rates starting from 1.39%. That’s when he created MobilePayments: an online service that helps UK businesses accept payments more easily, affordably, and quickly.
